my last scanner from a different brand would only work on certain makes, spent way too much time figuring out it just wasn't compatible with my Ford truck. This one connected right away, no fuss, no error screens. Works across everything I've thrown at it so far.

honestly wasn't expecting much because cheap scanners usually give you vague codes that don't actually tell you anything useful. This one pulls the full code and gives you enough info to actually understand what's going on under the hood. Way more helpful than I expected.

what I noticed right away is how fast it pulls the codes once you plug it into the OBD2 port. No long loading screen, no waiting around. For something this simple to use, it does the job really well on my 1998 Honda.
plugged it into my truck and it showed me the exact fault code within seconds. Being able to clear it myself instead of paying a shop just to reset a light is honestly such a good feeling. This thing pays for itself fast.
