The scratching posts on this are actually positioned at different heights, which I didn't expect. My younger cat uses the lower ones and my older cat prefers the ones further up. It's like it was designed with multiple cats in mind.
My last cat tree fell apart after a few weeks, the platforms started sagging and the whole thing got wobbly. This one is solid. My two cats both jump on it at the same time and it doesn't budge at all. Way sturdier than anything I've had before.

What I noticed right away is how many levels there are. My cats have completely different personalities and they each claimed their own spot without any fighting. One lives in the condo and one is always on the top platform watching the room.
I was a little worried the scratching posts would be too thin and flimsy, like the ones on the last tower I had where my cat basically ignored them and went back to the couch. These ones are thick and wrapped tight, and she uses them constantly now.
