What I really like is how the U-shaped cutout is positioned. It lines up in a way that actually reduces the pressure I feel at the base of my spine and tailbone area. You can tell some thought went into the design rather than just cutting a random notch in the foam.

the gel top layer feels cool when you first sit down and then kind of adjusts to your body temperature. it's a small thing but after sitting for hours it keeps things from getting too warm and uncomfortable the way regular foam does.
The U-shape cutout is deeper than I expected, which is a good thing. I've had cushions before where the cutout was basically decorative and did nothing for pressure relief. This one actually takes the weight off the right spots.
