The foam did look a little squished when it first arrived but it filled out after about a day and a half. The fabric cover is not super thick.
at first I thought I received the wrong item because it looked flat when I unpacked it but after leaving it out for about 2 days the foam expanded nicely and now.. my baby goldie uses it every day to climb onto the bed. Shipping was a little slow but the product itself works well.
The steps feel stable and look good in our living room.

When I first opened the box I had the same concern as some other reviewers because the foam looked compressed. I didn’t realize memory foam stairs need time to expand. Mine took about two days before it reached its full shape. Very happy with this purchase.
They do take up some space, still worth the buy
