my last cat tree started wobbling after a few weeks and my cats refused to use it. this one stays solid even when both of them are jumping around on it at the same time. the base is sturdy and it doesn't rock at all.
each platform is wide enough that my cat can fully stretch out on them. some of these towers have tiny little perches that cats barely fit on, but the levels on this one are actually useful for lounging.
I was a little hesitant because the scratching posts on cheaper towers always seemed to unravel fast. the sisal on this one is tightly wrapped and hasn't budged. my cat scratches it constantly and it still looks good.
honestly just bought this without overthinking it and it's been great. my cat uses the hammock every single day and the sisal posts are holding up really well. no complaints.

told my friend to get one of these after she kept saying she was worried the condo part would be too small for her cat. she got it and her cat sleeps in there all the time now. we both love ours.

what I really like is that the sisal posts are on multiple levels, not just at the bottom. my cat likes to scratch after climbing so having posts up high actually gets used way more than I expected.

the condo has a little opening that my cat loves to peek out of. she'll sit in there for hours watching the room. it feels enclosed enough that she actually feels safe in it, not just a box she ignores.
