My cat is obsessed.
This is genuinely one of the better things I've bought for my cats. They use the scratcher and play with the ball and it keeps them entertained for a good stretch of time. My sofa is finally getting a break and I couldn't be happier about that.

I noticed the sisal wraps all the way to the base, not just the upper half like some cheaper ones. My cat likes to scratch low sometimes and this actually covers that. Little detail but it makes a difference.

The ball on the string is actually at a good height. My cat bats it, then scratches, then bats it again. It keeps her engaged with the post in a way a plain post never did. Really smart design honestly.
the base is wide enough that it doesn't rock when my cat stretches up and really digs in. Some posts are so narrow they're basically useless. This one lets her get a full stretch and scratch without me holding it steady.

My cats both love it. I was not expecting both of them to share it so willingly but here we are.
Every post I've ever had ends up with the sisal completely shredded and unraveling within a short time. This one is holding together really well so far, the wrapping is tight and my cat has been using it pretty regularly.
What I really like is that the sisal has a nice rough texture that my cat genuinely prefers over my couch. She goes straight for it now instead of my furniture, which is the whole point. The hanging ball gives her something to swat at while she's there so she lingers longer.

my last scratching post started falling apart after barely any use, the base was wobbly and my cat knocked it over constantly. this one is solid and stays put even when she goes at it full force. the sisal actually holds up too, not just some thin wrap that shreds off in a week.
Told my neighbor to grab one of these because she kept saying scratching posts always tip over and scare her cat away from using them. She got it and her cat took to it right away, no tipping, no drama. We were both surprised honestly.
Does the job perfectly. Feels well made and my cat hasn't ignored it once since I got it.
I was worried the hanging ball toy would just fall off immediately like on every other one I've bought, but it's still attached and my cat bats at it every single day. Actuallyits ok
