the material on the sleeping surface is smooth but not slippery, your bedding actually stays put on top of it. And it's thick enough that you don't feel the seat underneath you, which was my whole reason for wanting something like this in the first place.
Perfect for road trips.
Told my sister to grab one of these for her road trips with her kids. She was worried it would feel flimsy or slide around on the seats, and she texted me saying it fits snug and the kids slept great the whole drive.
what I really like is how the pad fits across the back seat and the gap between the seat and the trunk area. It fills in that uneven space so you're not rolling into a dip in the middle of the night. Makes a huge difference for actually sleeping comfortably.
The 12v pump is quicker than I expected. Plugged it into the car, and by the time I had the pillows out and the blanket laid down it was already done. Deflating and packing it back up is just as easy, folds down pretty small.
We use it on camping weekends when we don't want to pitch a tent. Comfortable enough for a full night's sleep and easy to store when we don't need it.

the pump that came with it actually works. I know that sounds like a low bar but I had a similar thing before where the included pump was completely useless and I had to use a separate one. This one plugs right into the 12v port and inflates fast.
Really good. The pillows are a nice bonus, saves you having to bring extra ones from home. Whole setup is straightforward and the pump makes it effortless.
I was a bit skeptical about the pillows being an afterthought, like the cheap kind you get free with something. They're actually decent, soft enough to sleep on and they hold their shape through the night.
