I was worried about stability at the taller heights since some stands get wobbly the higher you go. These don't have that problem at all. The base is wide enough that even extended to the max they feel planted. Three tons of rated capacity and they hold it no issue.
the saddle on top is a decent size and the contact point feels secure on the pinch weld. some cheaper stands have a tiny little cup that makes you nervous. this one grips properly and sits flat.
told my buddy to grab a pair of these after he was complaining about his short stands not giving him enough room to work under his lifted 4x4. he got them, said the extra height makes a huge difference and the ratchet mechanism feels solid. glad i could help him out

My old stands were the old pin-style and the pins would slip if I wasn't perfectly lined up. These ratcheting ones lock at every notch so there's no single failure point. I've had them under my truck for extended periods and they haven't budged once.

The range on these is genuinely useful. Going from 13 to just over 21 inches covers a lot of vehicles without swapping stands. I used them on my sedan and then on my brother's truck the same weekend, no problem either time.

these are just good stands, simple as that. easy to adjust, feel stable, and the capacity is plenty for what I do
Three tons per stand is reassuring when you're working under something heavy. I checked the welds when I got them and they looked clean and solid, no rough spots or gaps. The locking pawl clicks into the rack firmly and shows no sign of backing off under load.
Bought these to replace a cheaper set I had before. The build quality is noticeably better and the extra height clearance has made a real difference when working on my truck. Would recommend to anyone doing their own work at home.
