had one of these from a different brand and the clip snapped within a week. Been using this one for a while now and it still feels solid. The plastic is thicker than I expected and the headrest straps hold tight without slipping.
The surface has a slight lip around the edge which keeps things from sliding off when someone opens the car door and it shifts a bit. Small detail but it makes a real difference when you've got a drink sitting on it.
