Told my buddy to grab one of these after I got mine. He was worried it wouldn't handle his heavier cruiser, but it's rated for 1100 lbs so he pulled the trigger and he's been real happy with it. Works just as well for him as it does for me.
My old lift used to wobble like crazy when I cranked it up, scared me every time I had the bike on it. This one stays solid the whole way up. The base sits flat and the scissor mechanism feels really well made, no flex or creaking.

crank mechanism is smooth and has good resistance so it doesn't feel like it's going to slip when you're raising it. you can feel it locking into position as you go. nice detail that actually matters when you've got a heavy bike sitting on top.

fits nicely under the frame without a lot of fussing around to position it. the platform is wide enough to give a solid contact point and i feel confident leaving the bike raised while i do longer jobs. no wobble, no drama.
Last lift I had stripped out the crank mechanism after a few uses and became basically useless. This one has a much sturdier feel to the crank, turns smoothly and locks the height without slipping. Big improvement over what I had before.
This is just a really solid piece of gear. Holds my bike up without any issues and the crank gives you good control over how high you go. Glad I picked this one.
