my last helmet had such a cheap chin strap that it would slip around constantly, this one actually stays snug and doesn't budge even after a rough ride. my son hasn't complained about it loosening up once since we got it.

my son absolutely loves this, he asked to wear the helmet around the house before his first ride and that pretty much says it all.
the gloves have reinforced knuckles and the palm grip is textured in a way that actually helps him hold the bars better, not just decorative stitching like some cheaper ones use. you can tell a bit of thought went into the design.
Really pleased with the quality for a full set like this. Everything arrived in good shape and my daughter was out on her bike the same day.
the goggles that come with this actually seal pretty well around the helmet, they don't leave that awkward gap that lets dirt in around the edges. my kid came back from a trail ride and his eyes were totally clean.
told my neighbor to grab one of these for her kid, she was nervous about the goggles fogging up like they do on cheaper sets. she messaged me after the first ride saying the goggles stayed clear the whole time, she was really happy with it.

ok this thing is actually so good, the whole set matched and looked way cooler than I thought it would from the photos.
I was worried the helmet would feel too heavy on my son's neck since he's only eight, but honestly it sits really well balanced on his head and he hasn't complained about neck strain at all.
noticed the interior padding on the helmet has a soft liner that doesn't scratch against the ears, which my son specifically pointed out because his old one used to bug him on long rides. small detail but makes a difference.
the visor on the helmet has a solid amount of adjustment, so we could angle it to block sun during afternoon rides without it sitting weird. my kid figured out how to adjust it himself after the first time out.
the gloves fit way better than I expected for a set like this. usually with bundled gloves they run weirdly small or the grip is useless, but my daughter says these actually feel secure on the handlebars.
