the legs raise it up just enough that my dog seems to feel more secure on it, like he has a proper spot that's his own. he goes to it on his own now without being told, which honestly never happened with his old flat bed.

honestly didn't even think twice about the mesh, my dog just jumped right on it and curled up like it was nothing. no fussing, no sniffing suspiciously for an hour. it just works.

What I noticed pretty quickly is how easy it is to wipe down. The mesh doesn't trap fur the way fabric beds do, and the bolster cover comes off cleanly for washing. Keeping it fresh is way less effort than anything I've had before.
it's just a really well thought out design. nothing complicated, nothing flimsy. my dog has been using it every single day.
My last elevated dog bed had metal legs that kept sinking into the carpet and collapsing sideways. This one stays completely stable no matter where I put it, hardwood or carpet. My golden retriever flops onto it hard every single time and nothing shifts.
This has been such a good addition. My dog is older and I think the raised design helps with his joints. He gets on and off without any hesitation and sleeps longer than he used to.
