The J1772 connector has a nice solid latch when you plug it into the car. There's a satisfying click and it doesn't rattle or feel cheap at all. Small thing but it matters when you're doing it every day.
the connector on my previous one started getting loose after a while and would wiggle around in the charge port. This one clicks in solid every time and hasn't loosened up at all since I got it.
I was worried the cable would be too short to reach my outlet from where I park, but 16 feet is genuinely plenty. It reaches my garage outlet with room to spare and I don't have to do any awkward angling with the car.
