Works fine on my 5.5L gas engine, honestly just grabbed it and clipped it on when the battery died after leaving a light on overnight. Didn't overthink it, it just started the truck right up.

What I noticed pretty quickly is that the clamps actually grip the battery terminals properly, no slipping around while you're trying to get it connected. Small thing but my old one was a nightmare for that.
Previous jump starters I've owned would just die after sitting unused for a while, totally useless when you actually needed them. This one still has plenty of charge after sitting in my glove box since I got it.

One thing I appreciate is how the indicator shows the charge level so you're not guessing whether it's ready to use. I top it off every so often and it's always ready to go when I need it ⭐.
